the day after thanksgiving (which is a Friday) is consider the starting point of all sales and promotions
because of the Christmas and New Year season comming
and everyone start to buy gifts for others and themselves..
so.. thats why la..
and Black Friday marks the first day of sales
usually.. they will have crazy discounts in very very early morning
the stores open like 5 am in the morning of that Friday
so.. (i will be there standing in line)

i'm trying to ask people where they go shopping for the biggest sale of the year

yep!
exactly~  i believe thats the whole purpose of this big sale..
if you want to wake up early (or not sleep at all) and trade your sleep time for some $$ saving items.. then it is not that difficault to see why so many people stand in line year after year
and.. just like you said.. "standing in line" is such a horrible thing to do.. especially if you experience the situation that I had last year (i wrote it in the english section 訪客無法瀏覽此圖片或連結,請先 註冊登入會員 , hehe~  practice some more english ba~ )
but.. in general.. things usually goes smoothly.. and you can really make some friends there while standing in the cold

YES!

man.. bruce.. i was actually talking to a friend of this recently!!

and... really.. chinese people like to all fall into something that they think is good for them.. and completely go crazy

stand in line is so typical~  (i guess i'm one of these~  haha)

hum.. i don't know if you know.. but there is a cookie that is out recently in taiwan.. and they all say its soo good and tastes so smooth and rich.. the brand is called "black chef"

and a friend of mine recently got a hold of a can or two.. and i tasted it...

its somewhat exactly like some cheap ones that i had when i was little

really don't know what people are thinking

"black chef" i have never heard of it. well i guess its just their marketing strategy,

somehow made everyone went crazy for that particular brand. Its not cookie itself but its the

fact that everyone is eating it made everyone go crazy
